The Pharmaceutical Account Executive will create and grow the territory by targeting specialty providers for assigned product(s).
- Promote products with general practitioners, specialists and other health care professionals
- Inform professionals about products, describe the risks and benefits of specific drugs and answer detailed technical questions
- Schedule appointments, file sales and expense reports, plan and give presentations, and manage customer databases.
- Perform sales related activities on company’s specialist pharmacy programs for designated providers within an assigned area.
- Develop and maintain relationships with designated providers within assigned area utilizing current network for additional accounts.
- Leverage current network of providers
- Educate the providers on the benefits of specialty pharmacy using company materials.
- Provide follow-up regarding all activities tied to the patients’ referral.
- Disease states: Allergy, Respiratory, Injectibles, Biologics
Requirements
- Experience in pharmacy sales.
- 2+ years of aforementioned disease state sales experience required.
- Current state’s drive license.
- Established provider contacts in the following disease states: Allergy, Respiratory, Injectibles, Biologics
